I provide manual driving lessons across Lancaster, Morecambe, Heysham, Lancaster University and central Carnforth, with lessons planned around your experience, confidence and goals.
Because I know the local area well, lessons can include a useful mix of quieter roads, busier urban driving, rural routes, dual carriageways and the kinds of situations you’re likely to meet in everyday driving and around test preparation.
Lancaster

Morecambe
Driving lessons across Morecambe, with a mix of residential roads, busier town routes, coastal roads and routes towards Lancaster.
Heysham

Lancaster University
Lessons can be arranged around Lancaster University, subject to availability and suitable pickup arrangements, with routes covering campus, Lancaster and the surrounding area.
Carnforth
Driving lessons are available in central Carnforth, subject to location and availability, with lessons planned around suitable local and surrounding routes.

Driving lessons in Lancaster and Morecambe can include a mix of town, rural and faster-road driving as your confidence develops.
Lessons are not limited to one type of road or one small area. As your confidence develops, we can use a wider range of local routes so you gain experience in the situations you’re most likely to meet in everyday driving.
Town & city driving
Build confidence with junctions, roundabouts, traffic lights, busier roads and the different demands of driving through Lancaster and Morecambe.
Rural & faster roads
Develop experience on rural routes, higher-speed roads and dual carriageways, with a focus on planning, positioning and safe decision-making.
Test preparation routes
When you’re approaching test standard, lessons can include realistic local driving situations and areas that help you practise the skills needed for independent driving.
Where lessons start
Lessons are normally arranged within the areas I cover, with pickup and drop-off agreed when lessons are booked. Where possible, this can be from home, work, college or university depending on location, timing and the lesson plan.
Central Carnforth is covered on a more limited basis, so availability there may depend on the exact pickup point and how it fits with the rest of the day’s lessons.
Home or local pickup
Where practical, lessons can start from your home or another agreed local pickup point within the areas covered.
Lancaster University
Lessons can be arranged around Lancaster University, subject to availability and suitable pickup arrangements.
Carnforth
Carnforth lessons are available from central locations where they can be fitted efficiently into the lesson schedule.
